Here I am, 15 days out from my bodybuilding show, and of course, it is pretty much all I can think about. I’m extremely excited to match my fat loss and muscle building knowledge against others from San Antonio and all over Texas.
Yesterday, I scheduled a rare “early day” and wrapped up my training day early enough to get my cardio done, prepare for today and be in bed by 8pm and I feel phenomenal today. Of course, I’m able to sleep a little later on the weekends (if my 5 year old will allow it) so three straight days of being completely rested is just what the doctor ordered when I needed it the most. Calories are low, work and working out intensity is high, and in just over 2 weeks, it will be show time! Hard to believe that 16 weeks has so quickly turned into 15 days.
I am in the process of restarting the San Antonio Personal Trainer Newsletter. Just from clients and friends alone, we already have well over 50 people subscribed and ready to receive it. My intent is to try to provide variety with training and nutrition articles, supplement news, recipes and other interesting information that will help you change the way you look and feel. I’ll also be including another Q&A area in it, so if there are any personal training related questions you’d like answered, please let me know.
I finally picked up a microphone for my netbook, so now I’ll be posting a few more video blogs here discussing training. The netbook webcam makes it a little easier to do so, as opposed to setting up my tripod and other camera. I’ll save that for exercise instruction, as I want to post a few different exercises here on the blog that I feel are necessary, yet few people do them.
One on One and Boot Camp Group Training Specials
A few days ago, I posted my training specials for November and December. I’m working on one to combine the two so keep your eyes here and I’ll make that announcement over the next couple of days.
I’m at the point of counting down hours until my show now – thank you everyone for the support!
